How many tears have I cried?
I think I've lost count…
How many screams have escaped from my throat?
It's sore to the touch…
How many hours have I sat here alone?
I'm rather cold…
How many shades of sorrow have flashed through my eyes?
Maybe I should be blue eyed instead…
How many promises have we given each other?
Because I don't think they matter any more…
