"I feel completely and utterly stupid." Thor complained, looking down at himself as Loki placed a veil in his hair then pulled it over his face. "I am not a woman. Why can I not just storm in and claim what is rightfully mine?"

"Thor, darling, I have explained this to you already," Loki spoke in a patient tone, a smile of amusement  against his lips at the sight of the all powerful and might Thor dressed as a bride. "The hall will be filled with giants and you have no weapon to fight against them. You would fall in a matter of minutes."

"I can use my own fists them! Pound them into the ground and make them wish they were never born!"

"But what if they all surround you? Surely you cannot take them all on as such?" Thor frowned deeply and glared at the floor. Loki smiled though and stepped in front of him. He lifted his head with a hand under his chin so their eyes would meet, "You will get your precious hammer back and as soon as it is in your position, you can do as you please with it, but until then, you must trust me."

Thor searched his eyes a moment before speaking, "Why are you helping me? Are you not the God of Mischief? Would you not rather cause me pain instead of ridding it?" he asked.

Loki took his hands from his face and put them on his chest so smooth his dress, "I grew tired of your cries of rage. It is hard to gather my slumber when you insist on wailing for all Nine Realms to hear."

"My apologies."

"Yes well, it is no matter now." Loki took his hands back and stepped away from him, "Now hold still. I have to mask your godly form." He lifted his hands and started to wave them about slightly, mumbling odd words under his breath. His hands started to glow then with a touch to his chest, Thor felt a cold chill wash over him. He gave a little shiver then looked down at his hands, only to find them as large and rough as they were before. He looked up at the other god for an explanation. "As you can tell, you do not seem much different," Loki started to explain, "But I can assure you, you will not look as you normally would to others. To one of the untrained eye, you look of Freyja herself, fine and beautiful as she is. But heed my warning. Do not let others touch you, for your form is only a trick of the eye, and not of the touch. Anyone who tries to touch you will feel the man you are, and not the woman you portray."

Thor nodded slowly, taking in his words, "Could you not have just created a clone to look like Freyja and have me go in like this?" he asked.

"Could a mere clone pick up your mighty Mjolnir?"

"Well no, but..."

Loki held up a hand to silence him, "Then no, a clone would not have completed your task. Now," Loki turned and picked up his staff. Upon touching it, his own clothes melted away to show the finest silk robes in gold and white. It make his soft pale skin look smoother, and had Thor's fingers itching to touch, "I will be escorting you to the wedding. You would be wise to stay beside me the entire time so you do not mess this up."

Thor frowned watching him, "You are unkind, Loki." he said, earning an odd look from the other god, "To bare such garments in my presents with no intention of letting me touch. Do you wish for me to suffer through the entire ordeal like this?"

A knowing smirk slipping onto Loki's lips at this, "Had you expected me to have no fun during all of this?" he countered. He turned and walked to the other slipping his arms around his neck, "Think of it this way, darling... I am a prize to claim, but only after you complete your task. The quicker your finished, the sooner you have me. Does that not motivate you farther?"

Thor let out a sound of pleasure and dismay, wrapping his arms around the smaller frame to pull him closer, until they touched, "You test my will, Loki."

Loki hummed playfully, slipping a hand under the other's veil to run his finger tips over his lips, "As you test mine every day." Thor parted his lips to catch the digests in his mouth, only to have them pulled away before he could, making him whine softly. Loki chuckled a little at this and ghost his lips across the other's through his veil before pulling away completely.

Thor pouted slightly, "Teasing is not becoming of you..." he mumbled.

"As pouting is not of you." Loki smiled and took his hand, "Come, let us go now. Your groom awaits you." Thor frowned at this but followed as he was lead out of his room.

Upon arriving at Jontheim, giants lead Thor and Loki into the massive dining hall were the wedding feast would be held. Thor frowned at the sight of all the giants, who stared at him with hunger. He glanced down at Loki, who looked composed as he always was.

"Tell me something, Loki," he said in a quiet tone, "What if he speaks to me? Would he not know it was not Freyja by the tone of my voice?"

"Peace, Thor," Loki stated softly, "For your voice is masked as well, but do decline if he asks you to sing, for I do not think you could hold a note, even with the voice of a goddess." he gave the taller man a playful smile before looked forward again as they approached the king of the giants. Loki bowed gracefully, "M'lord, I have brought forth Freyja, Goddess of Love, as you bride-to-be, as I have promised." he spoke.

Thrym stood from his rocky throne as they approached, a smile wide on his lips, "For once you have not lied, God of Mischief." he said as he walked down the steps to his throne to them.

"I am offended that you think so little of me." Loki stated, his tone taking on a light tone.

"You have my apologies." Thrym stopped in front of Thor and looked him over with slow, hungry eyes. Thor was grateful for the veil then, so the intensity of his glare couldn't be seen in full. When the giant reached out to touch his bride, Thor recoiled. Loki quickly jumped in with an explanation.

"You must forgive her, m'lord," the trickster said, "For she is not used to seeing a man of your strength and looks in all her years. It may take time for her to relax to you."

This seemed to feed the giants ego just fine, making him step back, "Yes, perhaps you are right. No matter. She will have all of eternity to adjust to her new husband. In the meantime, let us eat to celebrate."

All the giants roared with happiness and gathered at the large stone table for the feast. Thor was forced to sit beside Thrym as Loki sat to his other side. Forgetting his role, Thor ate much more than a normal goddess would have and drank all the other men to shame. When Thrym looked suspicious, Loki explained that "she" had not eaten in eight days, for she was too excited.

When the feast was other and the other giants started to dance, Thor glanced up at their king. "Thrym?" he said, hoping his voice came out as Loki said it would, "I have heard tales of how you stole the might Thor's hammer... are they true?"

Thrym laughed, high on his own ego and wine, "Of course it is! The God of Thunder is mindless to my skills! I stole it right under his nose as he slept! Then buried it deep within the Earth so he could not call it back! The look of horror on his face when he awoken the next morning must have been a sight!" He said loudly.

Thor gritted his teeth, glaring up at the giant. Loki gently touched his shoulder to calm him, "M'lord," Loki started, "I have brought your Freyja as your bride, now won't you give her the hammer as a wedding gift?"

Thrym thought for a moment then nodded, "Alright. Bring forth the hammer!" he commanded his people.

Moments later, Mjolnir was laid at Thor's knees. As soon as it touched his dress, Thor grabbed it and ripped off his costume, his mask falling. Thrym didn't even get the chance to react before Thor embedded his hammer into his skull. He did not take mercy on the wedding guests either.

Once they arrived back at Asgard, Thor brought Loki back to his chambers as he promised he would, only Loki frowned halfheartedly as he was pulled to the large man. "Thor, I wish you would let me bath before taking me. I reek of death and my skin burns with the blood of giants. Surely you do not want me this way."

"I want you every way I can think of." Thor answered, planting kisses on his neck, "Besides, you agreed that once I got my hammer back, that I could claim you as well."

Loki smiled a little at the other's eagerness, and he wrapped his arms around his neck, "You have the tolerance of a teenage boy." He started but was silenced by a kiss on the lips.

"Hush now," The blonde commanded softly against his lips, "And let me show you my gratitude."
So I've been studying Norse Mythology lately (btw, it's /so/ good) and I read the story about a giant by the name of Thrym stealing Thor's hammer. Loki helps him in the myth too, which the "Thor" movie/Avengers Thorki fangirl side of me /loved/.

Now understand something... Thor and Loki weren't brothers in Norse Mythology. I don't think they were even closely related. They didn't share blood, and Loki didn't even formally live in Asgard. So in this story, they're not brothers or related. They're just two people who are in love.

Oh, and you might get confused during this if you having read about Norse Mythology, so you might look some stuff up. I think the myth itself was titled "The Theft of Thor's Hammer", but I'm not 100% sure.

I DO NOT OWN THOR OR LOKI OR ANY OF THEM!!
